Afternoon Of A Swan

Speedy West's "Afternoon Of A Swan" was adapted for non-pedal steel guitar and performed by Mike Neer on a Clinesmith S-8 Lap Steel, a Michael Dunn Rhythm Futur guitar, Fender Telecaster (with tremolo) and a Kay upright bass. All tracks were recorded with a Boss BR-8 using no signal processing, except for an amp model on the steel with a touch of reverb.

This is one of my all-time favorite songs and a testament to the greatness of Speedy West's compositional, as well as playing skills. I learned it from Speedy's "Guitar Spectacular" LP--one of the greatest steel guitar recordings ever made.
