Buddy Charleton's "Almost To Tulsa" was adapted for non-pedal steel guitar and performed by Mike Neer on a Clinesmith D-8 Console Steel, Fender Telecaster, various things to beat on and a Kay upright bass. All tracks were recorded with a Boss BR-8 using no signal processing, except for an amp model on the steel with a touch of reverb.

This is one of my favorites by the late Buddy Charleton. Hope you enjoy it.
