The video files are .avi files created with the Xvid codec, which follows the MPEG-4 standard. In Windows, these files open with Windows Media Player and another great player, called VLC Media Player . In Mac OS, these files open in Quick Time, but it is necessary to have the Perian Quicktime component installed. VLC Media Player is also available for MAC OS.

Over the course of almost 90 years, the steel guitar has been played and recorded in a number of musical styles. There have been several players in its history who have pushed the steel guitar to new heights.
