This fantastic tune, Seven Come Eleven, was written by the great Tom Brumley and recorded by The Buckaroos. It appears on their America's Most Wanted Band LP, released in 1967. Tom Brumley played it on E9 pedal steel tuned down 1/2 step. I adapted it for non-pedal steel, E9 tuning. Seven Come Eleven was performed on a Clinesmith S-8 Lap Steel, a Michael Dunn Rhythm Futur guitar, and a Kay upright bass. The drums were a cardboard box and a tambourine played with brushes. All tracks were recorded into a Boss BR-8; a built-in COSM amp modeler was used for the steel.
