Speedy West's "Skiddle-Dee-Boo" was adapted for non-pedal steel guitar and performed by Mike Neer on a Clinesmith D-8 Console Steel, a Michael Dunn Rhythm Futur guitar, box percussion and a Kay upright bass. All tracks were recorded with a Boss BR-8 using some EQ to remove some of the low end on the steel to make it sound a little more Speedy-like.

This is another one of my all-time favorite songs and a testament to the greatness of Speedy West's compositional, as well as playing skills. Vance Terry also recorded this tune with Billy Jack Wills.
